Jon is an Iowa native, and a farm boy at heart, grounded by family values and a strong work ethic that shows up in everything he does. He’s been married to his wife, Mel, for 23 years, and together they’ve raised two amazing kids who followed him into the trades, which is a source of pride for Jon and a reflection of the example he’s set.
With more than 20 years in construction, Jon didn’t just manage projects; he did the work himself. He’s spent years in the field learning the trades firsthand, making mistakes, solving problems, and figuring out what actually works in real homes. That hands-on experience is what he brings to every project today.
Jon oversees the design process to make sure ideas aren’t just beautiful on paper, but truly buildable. Because he’s been in the field, he’s able to spot potential issues early and solve them before they become costly or stressful problems. His practical, detail-driven approach helps projects run smoother from start to finish.
Outside of work, Jon enjoys golfing, mountain biking, and snowboarding, especially when he’s in Colorado. Friendly, approachable, and always willing to help, Jon has the heart of a teacher and genuinely loves sharing what he’s learned to help others succeed.
